About
FlipFlop is a first person puzzle platformer game, created for the 7DFPS Challenge. The game revolves around two main mechanics - Flipping (Reversing gravity) and flopping (Rotating gravity) - give it a go! :D KNOWN ISSUES 1. If you start the game with the options box open, your mouse wont be locked. Or, if the mouse stops being locked, toggle the options on, then back off again, using F1. 2. Collision are a little bit buggy, and break occasionally. If you get stuck, press DELETE to reset your character. How to play: Controls: WASD - Move Mouse - Look/Aim Right mouse button - Snap camera up Space - Flip Shift - Walk F1 - Options Esc - Quit level to menu Del - Reset level Play it here!! Flipflop DOES sound good enough =P Not sure if you really need to change it, to be honest.

Flipflop is a great name! Also, you could try to make it move the camera a bit less and make the character a bit smoother, that might make it less disorientating.

Nice aesthetic! Reminds me a bit of some jump maps in TF2. Dropping the interpolation rate down for changing "down" orientation would help. That or increasing field of view so you can track where you are more easily. For me the issue was losing sight of things I was using to tell where I was. Fun mechanic!

Nesis: Oh man, thanks for much for the FOV suggestion, dunno why I didn't think of that! I played around with the interpolation, and bumped up the FOV from 60 to 90, feels much better now (imo), let me know what you think now! :)

Fantastic! movement and flipping is still a little fast to be reckless, but this is so cool! Can't wait to see it finished!

Great logo btw.

Great to know my tip worked! Also cool to see you've made a replay feature, it's a nice touch. This would be sweet to play with the Oculus Rift. Disorienting as all buggery, but that'd be the point :D

Haha yeah, I've love to get one and give it a go :p It might even make it LESS disorienting, as flipping over would make more sense

Vertigo didn't really start kicking in until level 5—at that point I started enjoying myself quite thoroughly.

Head ache inducing fun, took a while for me to catch on how I was being flipped - (duh, flip meaning 180 - but it didn't seem apparent at first). Once I understood that my enjoyment went up. Got to level 4 - had to have a break lol. Very nice! Could potentially add controllable rotation, i.e. 90 and 45 degree as well?
Hi ! I really loved that game, best PuzzleGame I've tried from 7dfps so far ! Here's a gameplay video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8C0jCZjgrTA I'll follow your next projects ;) Keep up the good work !
