“I have decided not to worry about ‘finishing’ on time; this week is all about having fun!”... and mission accomplished.
The week (well 3 days) has been extremely productive for me. I have managed to finished off parts of the engine which would normally have taken me weeks not days. This week has also renewed my motivation to get my current project across the finishing line.
I hope everyone had an awesome week, and I look forward to playing everyone’s games.
I am struggling with the art style/theme at the moment, I may keep adding features and worry about the look and feel later........

This year I am taking full advantage of the rules and the lack thereof... Like a sneaky squirrel I have started early!
My down fall last year was lack of time caused by being too ambitious (and probably a little naive). My plan for this year ‘was’ to get the engine ready before the 7dfps started, in the hope that this would allow me to focus more on the higher level game development instead of burning time on the lower level logic. However... due to work and family commitments this has not quite gone to plan. As such this year’s 7dfps will be an engine wrap-up with some ‘possible’ hints of game play (time permitting).
