About
Update 8/25/2013: Finally The long awaited Linux and Mac attack OS Builds are available for download :) Created by CaffienePowered & FeatureCreep Arshavir is an open world (2 kilometers of terrain) RPG medieval fantasy game with a primary focus on magic combat and telekinesis. Originally we had designed the game with multiplayer in mind, but unfortunately we were unable to finish that portion of the game on time. However we do intend on developing this game further in the near future. Hope you all enjoy it! And may the road rise with you! Gave me a bluescreen.
FeatureCreep says...
@packetpirate "Gave me a bluescreen." Woah really, a blue screen? That's awful, I'm not sure how that happened, perhaps you could try playing it at a lower quality resolution? The only thing I could think of that would cause that, is if your drivers were out of date? But that's just a guess. Not really sure how that's happening as we can't seem to reproduce that issue.

I really enjoyed what I played I'm not 100% sure why but it felt very atmospheric I felt like adventuring which is strange since that's not really a feeling even skyrim gave me. Defiantly felt like something that I should be using with an oculous rift!
FeatureCreep says...
@Rugged Thank you very much for your amazing comment, We are thrilled to hear you were able to experience the atmospheric feel we were attempting to achieve :) We never expected such wonderful feedback. There was so much more we wish we could have added to the game including multiplayer. Oculous Rift would definitely have been amazing, and will most likely get added as soon as we get ours in the mail. Thank you again.
Hi ! First, let me tell you how great this game felt when playing it ! I loved the animations of the npcs in the first town I found, the global atmosphere and basically the whole game itself! Had fun throwing cows miles away ;) I took the liberty of making a Youtube presentation about the game (It's in french though it shows about 12 minutes of gameplay for you people ) Hope you're Ok with it. Being uploaded right now at http://www.youtube.com/skiesgamingtv Also, is there any website where I could track this game down? I'd love to keep playing it and making videos about this one. Keep the GREAT work, cheers from France

Nice work! (I know this wasn't intentional, but this allowed for some epic rocket-jumping, by the way.)
RadJor says...
Haha yep. Super effective fast travel if you just stay grounded and fire behind you :P. Fun mechanics. Would be excited to see some actual action in the future.

Real hidden gem in here.

@skiesgamingtv Thank you very much for checking out Arshavir, and for taking the time to make a youtube video of it. That is really awesome! and the video is fantastic. "CaffeinePowered" and I are really glad to hear that you enjoyed the game. I will be posting updates on www.FeatureCreepStudios.com in the coming weeks, for fans of Arshavir to keep updated on its progress. Thanks for your support :)

@Alchiggins "Nice work! (I know this wasn't intentional, but this allowed for some epic rocket-jumping, by the way.)" I can understand how you might think that, considering most games wouldn't allow such a thing, but with Arshavir, our goal is not to limit the player, but to allow them to use their skills in ways that will enhance their gaming experience. We feel that games nowadays put too many restrictions on players making game play feel chunky and rigid, and so we intend to avoid that :) @RadJor Glad you enjoy it :), we hope to add more action as soon as possible. if you would like to keep up to date with the project, I will be adding more content to www.featurecreepstudios.com for fans of Arshavir, as well as my other games. @Quadhandy Thank you very much :)
@FeatureCreep You're welcome ! I've been playing more and wow the map is bigger than I expected, I guess all I have to do now is hit that refresh button on your site until a new version appears ;)

Could we get a Linux version of this please?
Hello! I'm actually trying to get a Linux version going! (Mostly not done because I don't have a Linux partition to test with right now) I may have it done tomorrow :) I'm glad to see someone who uses Linux!
Cheeseness says...
Ooh, I didn't realise there were plans for a Linux version of this one. If/when you get something up, tag me and I'll add it to the list I made for gamingonlinux.com
FeatureCreep says...
@skiesgamingtv Haha I wish it were as easy as hitting the refresh button and seeing updates :P I'm currently in the process of redesigning the website, so hopefully I'll be able to get updates for Arshavir soon. If you'd like to keep in contact, feel free to email me at info@fcstudios.ca with your 7DFPS name in the subject line and I'll do what I can to keep you updated.

Thank you so much for planning a Linux version. I ran this demo in WINE, and it ran ok, but it was still choppy. This game looks like it has major potential, and i would love to see the future for this game. This would be another awesome game to add to Linux.

@Mintylinux @skiesgamingtv @Cheeseness @packetpirate CaffinePowered just added is a Linux and Mac OS build More updates are coming soon :)
