Total Invasion 11/12/14
Ok, so I've made the next level some sort of club theme. Also, I added a new enemy that revives other enemies, but its not in the screenshot. +Added 2 new levels +Added new Caco-wraith enemy +Decoration +Saving and loading! +New song Anyways, I just need an extra level or two and a final boss and I'd be pretty much done.

Total Invasion 11/11/14 - Walls broken
No screenshot today, 'cause nothing much has changed yet. Basically, yesterday was spent finishing up the second enemy type. The rest of that day and today was really spent on fixing a really annoying bug. Basically, the game crashes every 5 minutes or so (and yes, I timed it). So, after extended testing I fixed it by moving a line of code. Ahh, programming.... +Touched up fireball enemy -Big bad game-crashing bug

Alright, more stuff! Y'know, 'cause games need stuff. +Second level +New fireball-shooting enemy (all the enemies so far were in the original game, but there will be unique ones soon) +Sounds +Two music tracks (one for the level, and one for the level transition) +Improved title screen +Options menu (you can only adjust volume for right now) +A hotdog stand +Easter egg Anyways, development might not go so fast during the rest of the week 'cause school and stuff.

I've made quite a lot of progress this afternoon. Anyways, here's what happened: +Wraith enemies +Clowns +Scenery +Health system +Secret walls +Health pickups +Doors +Exit switches (and level switching) +Keys & Locked doors So yeah, this may be done sooner than I thought. Also, lots of secrets. The text on the poster looks familiar, hmm....?

Total Invasion progress 11/7/14
So here's what I got so far. Naalaa's raycasting library is a little finicky, but it gets the job done quickly. So far I've got some basic Wolfenstein graphics with mouse controls. Really, the main thing is that sickle the player is holding. You throw it to attack (the nonexistent) enemies and it comes back to you like some sort of boomerang. Anyways, this game takes place in a carnival. That's mainly because 'Genocide Carnival' is a cool level name. There will be wraiths soon. And clowns.

Oh..?
It's starting in 15 minutes, yet it's still November 7th. Ah, time-zones, they make so much sense. Anyways, last 7DFPS I made a game called The Invasion, and it was pretty crappy. I've been trying to remake it under the name 'Total Invasion' for a while now, but it just never happened. I guess now I'll have the motivation to do so. Programming: NaaLaa 6 w/ Raycaster lib Art: Aseprite Sfx: Sfxr Music: MidiMaker I don't have many ideas yet, except for replacing the shotgun with a sickle that you can throw like a boomerang.
